Aspen

Symbolism: Protection, Conquering Fear, Ascent.

Aspen is known as the whispering tree as the leaves tremble in the slightest breeze, making a soft whispering sound. Our ancestors believed that the wind was the messenger of the Gods, thus aspen, by association, was considered sacred. The Aspen tree has magical properties of intuition and is believed to give one the power to communicate with the next world. It also helps to prevent illness and is said to give one the strength to overcome adversity.
