Significance of Triquetra/ Trinity Knot:
‘Three’ is an important concept in Celtic mythology e.g. the existence of three material domains (earth, sea and sky), three spiritual worlds (earth, heaven and the underworld) and ‘triple goddesses.’ Triquetra/trinity symbols and triangular knots depict the balance, harmony and stability of this three-fold worldview.
Significance of Moonstone:
A translucent, milky stone with a lustrous finish, the moonstone has been used in jewellery since ancient Greek times. In many Asian cultures, it is regarded as holy and sometimes referred to as a ‘dream stone’ which brings the wearer beautiful visions at night. Women wear moonstones sewn out of sight into their garments to encourage fertility.
