Collection: Tree of Life

With their canopies in the heavens and their roots in the earth, trees held sacred significance for the Celts. Tree groves were believed to be 'living temples' - meeting places for worship and rituals, a relief from everyday duties, and a refuge from danger.
The Tree of Life provided passage to the spirits of our ancestors through which the Celts sought wisdom and connection. The seasonal cycle of trees was linked to death, rebirth and growth; and the trees’ lifespan linked to longevity.
